(Great Party Snack) Drain two 14 oz. cans of sauerkraut and run it through the grinder. Makes about 2 cups of ground sauerkraut. Grind up 2 cups of fully cooked honey baked ham. Mix the ham and the sauerkraut together and add 1 cup of regular bread crumbs. Form the mixture into (golf ball size balls) and put them in the freezer for 1 to 1 & 1/2 hours. Remove the sauerkraut balls from the freezer about 5 minutes before cooking so they start to thaw and the flour will stick to them real good. In 3 different dishes put your breading coatings... Roll your sauerkraut balls in all purpose flour, then in egg wash, then in bread crumbs. Deep fry for 1 minute and 20 seconds in 350 degree oil. Cool to warm on paper towels and serve with homemade cocktail sauce. Cocktail sauce recipe! 1/2 cup of ketchup 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce 1 Heaping tsp. of prepared horseradish.
